THE community of Innerleithen came together on Sunday to remember the fallen.

Following a packed service at Innerleithen Church of Scotland, representatives from the town's organisations and groups gathered at the War Memorial for the Act of Remembrance.

The Rev Miller Molloy and Fr Tony Lappin led service.

And wreaths were laid by Susan Meikle on behalf of the community council, Steve Kerr on behalf of the Church of Scotland, Jim Calder of the Royal British Legion Scotland and Shona Haslam for Scottish Borders Council.

A wreath on behalf of the Scouts was laid by Ruaridh Robb and Robbie Turner, while Lexi McTeir-Hay and Skye Connor laid the wreath on behalf of the Girl Guides.

St Ronan’s Silver Band, conducted by David Robb, led the praise, with the Last Pos sounded by Callum Robb.

Steven Gibb of Innerleithen Pipe Band played the Lament.
