LAUDER was on parade on Sunday to remember the fallen.
And also commemorate the centenary of the Armistice.
Crosses with the names of the 52 soldiers from the Royal Burgh who never returned following World War I were added to the War Memorial this year by Lauderdale Scouts.
And local crafters and members of Lauder in Bloom added their own tributes with 1,179 knitted poppies along the route of the official Remembrance Day parade.
Alastair Smith from Gala Water and Lauderdale Ex-Services Association told us: "It was a fitting and well-supported parade and ceremony and we'd like to thank everyone who came along."
Scottish Borders Council convenor David Parker laid one of the 16 wreaths in Lauder on behalf of the local authority.
On Monday Lauder Primary School held its own Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial.
