24-year-old remanded after alleged Galashiels housebreaking
A 24-year-old man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of theft by housebreaking in Galashiels at the weekend.
Sam Robertson of no fixed abode, also faces charge of police assault, obstructing police, threatening or abusive behaviour, racially aggressive harassment and possession of a controlled drug.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Robertson was refused bail and remanded in custody by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
