A CHEMICAL imbalance is being blamed for the closure of Selkirk swimming pool today.
And children who were due to take part in a Christmas fun session this afternoon are being advised to travel to Galashiels.
Management at the leisure centre have also announced that the sauna will be out of action for the rest of today as well.
But they have emphasised that the centre's gymnasium is open.
A spokesman for Live Borders said: "We are working hard to have the issue rectified as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience."
