MORE than 500 pupils at Galashiels Academy danced their way into the Christmas spirit last week.
Over three nights the school hosted the traditional festive ceilidhs.
And from first year pupils all the way up to seniors, they had a night to remember.
Deputy head teacher Malcolm Changleng told us: "Three evenings of ceilidh dancing, ice cream, hog roasts and general bonhomie made for a fantastic end to the term.
"The pupils were a credit to the school and the community with laughter, fun and an amazing array of suits, kilts and fabulous dresses on display.
"Galashiels Academy would like to take this opportunity to wish all pupils, staff, parents-carers, partners and tour wider community a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019."
