A 51-year-old man has been banned from the community recycling centre in Eyemouth until the outcome of his trial.
Adam Pass is accused of assaulting an employee at the centre in Gungreenshill Industrial Estate by seizing him by the throat and repeatedly punching and kicking him on the body.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and a trial date was fixed for April 18 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on April 1.
Pass was granted bail to an address in Eyemouth with special conditions not to enter the recycling centre or approach the employee.
