AN out of school club in Jedburgh is celebrating after becoming the first winners of a Borders business's first giveaway.
The online directory Borders.co.uk offered a prize of £500 through social media to a worthy local cause.
Despite entries from across the region it was the Jedburgh Out of School Club that was drawn out of the hat.
A spokesman for the club told us: "This is a massive windfall.
"The much-needed funds will be a substantial help towards outdoor equipment for the children."
Joining manager Kelli Wild to collect the winning cheque was parent-helper Lorna Pender, who entered the club into the draw.
