A SELKIRK man has been accused of passing counterfeit bank notes at a local bookmaker's shop.
Gary Turnbull, 35, of Bannerfield Drive, pleaded not guilty to passing as genuine two Bank of Scotland £20 notes at William Hill in Market Street, Galashiels, on August 21.
A trial has been scheduled for Selkirk Sheriff Court on February 28.
