A 36-year-old man has made a second private court appearance in connection with an armed robbery at a supermarket in the Borders.
William Quarry - who gave an address in Kelso - is charged with assault and robbery as well as possession of a bladed article.
He made no plea at Selkirk Sheriff Court and he was fully committed for trial.
Quarry was released on bail by Sheriff Peter McCormack.
It follows an incident at the Co-op store in Roxburgh Street, Kelso, at 10.55pm on Monday, January 28, when a man entered the premises and allegedly brandished a knife at a member of staff.
Police Scotland said three bottles of whisky and cigarettes were stolen.
