A DENHOLM man is due to stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court on two counts of dangerous driving.
Stuart Black is alleged to have committed the first offence on the A68 between Pathhead and Lauder on February 9 last year, when he is said to have overtaken a car and collided with other vehicles.
The second offence is said to have happened on the A68 between St Boswells and Jedburgh on October 16.
He is charged with falling asleep or otherwise losing control of his vehicle and colliding with an oncoming vehicle resulting in injury to himself and the other driver and both vehicles damaged.
Black, 31, of Denholm Mains, has pleaded not guilty to both charges and a trial date has been fixed for February 28.
