33-year-old denies threatening to burn down Clovenfords house
A 33-year-old man will stand trial in May at Selkirk Sheriff Court on a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour.
Craig Samson of Fraser Avenue, Hawick, denies attempting to force entry to a vehicle, brandish a brick, challenge another to fight and threaten to burn a house down.
The offence is alleged to have been committed at a house in Millbank Road, Clovenfords, on January 23.
A trial date has been set May 23 with an intermediate hearing on May 7.
