Epilepsy Scotland will hold an information stall at Galashiels Library on Monday.
The group’s helpline and information team will be in the main library at Lawyer’s Brae from 10.30am to 3pm.
It is a chance for people who are looking for information to talk to someone about the condition.
There will be a range of free information materials available, including factsheets, seizure diaries, occupational health guides and children’s books to help children understand epilepsy.
More than 55,000 people in Scotland have epilepsy, with an estimated 1,175 in the Borders.
Epilepsy Scotland’s helpline & information officer, Stuart Macgee said: “This is a great opportunity for people who have or know someone who has epilepsy to get vital information and support.
“This is the second of many information events that we will be holding throughout 2019 across all four corners of Scotland and is a great chance for Epilepsy Scotland to help as many people as possible and raise awareness of epilepsy.”
