Galashiels man made 156 calls to ex in one day
A Galashiels man telephoned his former partner 156 times on the day after she broke up with him, Selkirk Sheriff Court has been told.
When the woman finally answered Jamie West made comments about slashing her daughter's throat and posting the blood through the letter box.
The 33-year-old of Beech Avenue, pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner last month.
Sheriff Donald Corke expressed concern about the content of the comments and deferred sentence so that a non-harassment protection order can be considered.
