All routes in the Borders are passable with care.
There was a closure earlier on the A68 between Carfraemill and Soutra after a crash involving an HGV.
And there were reports of vehicles stuck on the A7 at the southern exit of Selkirk.
Latest from transport sources and emergency services is that all roads are now open - but drivers are advised to only make a journey if it is 'absolutely necessary'.
Although the Carter Bar is still open, it has been affected by heavy snowfall, and parts of the A7 south of Hawick are also reported as 'difficult'.
The Met Office has updated its yellow weather warning for snow to remain in place for the Borders until this evening.
Latest forecasts suggest the snow will clear this afternoon before returning later this evening in the northern and western Borders.
