LAUDER Amateur Dramatic Society will perform ‘A Tomb With A View’ for its production this week.

The group is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and it has picked the Norman Robbins comedy thriller to mark the occasion.

Established in 1949, the society performed its first play ‘The Wee Comic’ by Donald Kelly, a year later in Selkirk.

And it has gone from strength to strength.

A spokesperson said: “This year's who-done-it mystery has as many twists as a corkscrew, and will keep the audience guessing until the last minute.

“Be prepared to sit on the edge of your seats and to feel shivers down your spine, coupled of course with some hilarity from the sinister Tomb Family and their associates.”

The show will take place at the Lauder Public Hall from March 20-23 at 7.30pm. There will be bistro-style seating with wine bar and cheese.

Tickets are available from Lauder Community and Leisure Centre, and a free glass of wine and cheese included. For table bookings, call Gail on 01578 722885 or text 07960366911.
