A 28-year-old man has been banned from entering the Scottish Borders until his court case is resolved.
Daniel Stewart pleaded not guilty to two thefts of alcohol from McColls store in Gala Park, Galashiels, on September 7.
He also denies stealing make-up bottles from Superdrug in Kelso on November 26.
A trial date has been set for Selkirk Sheriff Court on June 20 with an intermediate hearing on June 3.
Stewart of Redbraes Place, Edinburgh, was released on bail with the special condition not to enter the Borders unless on court business.
