PASSENGERS on the Borders Railway are facing further disruption today.

All services to Edinburgh have been affected, due to a signalling fault at Haymarket Station.

And commuters are being warned trains are not currently running to the usual timetable.

A spokesperson for ScotRail said: "Trains which are currently on the line will take passengers to their destination.

"But there could be further disruption later as engineers work on the signalling fault at Haymarket."

The problem comes after dozens were left stranded in the capital on Sunday evening after five of the scheduled seven trains to Tweedbank were cancelled.

And passengers are being urged to check social media and the ScotRail website before travelling.

We will bring you updates when we get them.
