THEY like their doubles at Niki's Bar.
Not only did mine host Norman Mciver leave the rest chapping as he claimed the Galashiels Dominoes League coveted Piper Cup - for most individual wins over the season - but he was also part of the winning league team.
The win comes on the back of Niki's Numpties claiming the overall Galashiels Dominoes League title.
But perhaps the most remarkable win of the dominoes season came at Gala Bowling Club.
The knock-out finals featured the hosts, the British Legion, the Ladhope and Gala Fairydean Rovers.
Despite trailing 3-0 in the semi-final Gala Bowling Club won six in a row to progress.
And it was a similar story in the final against the Ladhope where they came from 4-2 down to win 5-4.
