A 31-year-old man has been accused of sending messages of an indecent nature to two under age girls and then arranging to meet them for the purpose of engaging in unlawful sexual activity.
Neil Murray denies committing the offences from a house in Glenburn Avenue, Newtown St Boswells, between April and May last year.
He faces a total of four charges relating to a 13-year-old girl called "Beccy" and another under age girl called "Kayla".
Murray, of Roxburgh Place, Newtown St Boswells, will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court on April 25.
He was granted bail with an extra condition he does not contact or approach any person under 16 years old or believes to be under 16 years old.
