This week's Pet Of The Week, from Borders Pet Rescue, is five-year-old Pal.
The charity told us: "Pal came in to us as his owner was struggling to cope with him. He needs to be the only pet in a home without children but he is a happy boy so will make a great companion for someone. Poor Pal has already had at least three homes before coming in to our care, so his next home needs to be his forever home.
"Pal hasn’t had much basic training although he does have pretty good recall and he is clever, so picks up on training easily. He is looking for a home where he can get this much-needed training and he definitely needs an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. His favourite thing is chasing a tennis ball!
"If you would like to offer Pal his forever home, please email info@borderspetrescue.org for an application."
