PUBLIC events are being held in the Borders as part of a campaign to 'Shut Out Scammers'.
Cops in Galashiels, Hawick and Kelso will host events this week in the three towns as part of the national drive to tackle doorstep crime.
Borders PC Nick Walker said: "As part of the national 'Shut Out Scammers' campaign, community Officers and
Trading Standards officers will be at locations in the Scottish Borders offering advice on preventing scams and doorstep crime.
"If you are in the area please stop by for a chat."
The first event will take place at Mayfield Garden Centre, Kelso on Tuesday, April 16 from 11am-1pm.
The Galashiels session will take place at the Transport Interchange on Wednesday, April 17 from 2pm-4pm.
While an event will be held at Sainsbury's Hawick on Thursday, April 18 from 11an-1pm.
