A 53-year-old Kelso man has been accused of possessing indecent images of children.
James Ascroft faces a third charge of having extreme pornographic images depicting bestiality, which involves sexual intercourse between a person and an animal.
The offences are alleged to have been committed at his home between November 2014 and September 2017.
Ascroft pleaded not guilty to all three charges and the case was continued at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until April 29.
