TOOL thieves have struck again in the Borders.
A number of works vans were targeted overnight into Wednesday morning in Earlston and Lauder.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We have been made aware of several tool thefts from vans and we are investigating."
The latest raids come just weeks after vans were broken into in Selkirk and Hawick.
And vans in Earlston and Duns were also broken into during February.
Thousands of pounds worth of tools were also stolen during a spate of van break-ins in Jedburgh during January.
Police carried out a series of raids at properties in the north of England earlier this month but no arrests have been made.
Anyone who has seen anything suspicious is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
