AN Earlston teenager has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Eighteen-year-old Bradley Baxter is also charged with driving a vehicle with a defective tyre.
It follows a two-vehicle accident on the evening of Wednesday, February 20, which resulted in the A6105 Earlston to Gordon road near East Morriston being closed for eight hours.
Baxter made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
He was released on bail by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
