RESIDENTS at a Peeblesshire care home have celebrated the arrival of spring with the help of a few recently-born lambs.
And to make sure of no accidents, the cute young sheep from Sundhope Farm all came wearing nappies.
St Ronan's Care Home has been winning awards over the past few years for its imaginative approaches to providing entertainment for residents.
Last week, to celebrate the changing seasons, they arranged for the Innerleithen home to be springing with lively lambs, which created smiles all round.
Donna Leslie, a support worker at St Ronan’s Care Home, said: “The residents loved this visit."
Although the lambs enjoyed climbing and playing in the day room, they quickly became tired from the journey over from the Yarrow Valley, and several enjoyed a nap on some of the residents' laps.
To conclude an exciting day at St Ronan's Care Home, all of the residents posed beneath the blossom trees in the garden.
