A 30-year-old woman will stand trial on a charge of causing a disturbance at Borders General Hospital.
Nikita James pleaded not guilty to obstructing a registered medical practitioner in the accident and emergency department on October 22 by refusing treatment, shouting, swearing and screaming, interfering with equipment which had been used in an attempt to treat her and attempting to push the man.
She also denied making phone calls to the emergency services at Bilston Glen on January 7 from an address in Galabank Street, Galashiels, when there was no need to and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
James, formerly of Hawick and currently in custody in connection with another matter, had a trial date set for May 23 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
