A 25-year-old man who admitted breaching a non-harassment order involving his former partner has been placed on the Caledonian Men's Programme for two years.
Nathan Gillie, formerly of Bongate, Jedburgh, and now living in Hawick, previously pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to the offence which happened at her place of employment in Bank Street, Galashiels, on February 12.
He was also given a three year non-harassment order which states he cannot contact her through social media or visit her home or place of work.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said the sentence was an alternative to custody.
