TWO men from Gateshead have made a private court appearance accused of theft by housebreaking at a Borders caravan park.
Michael Rogerson, who is 39, and 27-year-old Brian Taylor are charged with stealing bottles of spirits during the break-in at Lilliardsedge Holiday Park near Jedburgh earlier in the week.
Taylor also faces a number of motoring charges including driving while disqualified, no insurance, failing to co-operate with a breath test and not giving the identity of the driver of a vehicle.
Both made no plea when they appeared on petition at Selkirk Sheriff Court and the case was continued for further examination.
Taylor was remanded in custody in custody while Rogerson was released on bail.
