Residents of the Ettrick Valley are back in the saddle for the annual Macmillan leisure ride today.
Returning for the fifth year, the charity ride has become a popular way to raise money while taking in the surrounding landscape.
Starting from the Ettrickbridge Sports Field, participants will have the option to complete a 29 or 56-mile route.
Both rides are circular routes of the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys, with the ride mainly on well surfaced back roads with very little traffic.
Cyclists can stop for a food refuel at the Gordon Arms in Yarrow, and at the peak of their climb outside of Ashkirk.
Will Muirhead, organiser for the event stated: “Once again, our Ettrick Valley Macmillan leisure ride draws near.
“A lot of hard work by Valley residents and the Macmillan committee has gone into making this event a success in the past and this year is no different.
“If you feel like joining us you still have time as entries will be taken on the day, or just come along to watch.
“Everyone is welcome.”
The Macmillan cancer support leisure ride will be taking place on Saturday, May 25 at 10am.
Registration is from 8.45am.
Those who are interested can still enter for the ride at https://rideettrickvalley.wordpress.com/ or sign up at the registration station.
Entries cost £16.
