YOUNG upstarts, the Vistas, are selling out every date on their UK tour.

And on June 13 they rock up at MacArts in Galashiels for what will be a stand out show for the venue.

The fantastic indie band hailing from Edinburgh consist of Prentice Robertson, Dylan Rush and Jamie Law.

They deliver catchy choruses, hooky guitar lines and rhythmic thunderous baselines.

Their recent single Tigerblood received critical acclaim from the music press and has notched up over 100,000 views on You-Tube in the space of just two weeks.

The band recently took time out from their busy tour schedule to headline Tempest Brewery’s Springfest, to show case the catalogue of energetic singalong indie anthems that they were bringing to Galashiels.

CLASH magazine has described Vistas as “... indie-infused electro-pop that erupts from the traps and only continues to accelerate’’, while 6 Music's Huw Stephens declared: “When this band are massive at the end of the year you can say you heard them here first."

Support for the MacArts show comes from local band Butter featuring Saul MacKa,y Eirinn Mackay and Michael Jewitt.

Butter came to the notice of the Scottish music industry during a recent show with The Micro Band for their energetic channelling of surf guitars and choruses that The Vaccines would be proud of.
