A 41-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting two females at a house in Lauder has had his pleas of not guilty accepted at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Robert McLean was alleged to have rubbed the thigh of one woman and kissed another on the mouth on December 22.
But McLean of Restalrig Square, Edinburgh, pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and was fined a total of £270.
