29-year-old admits making 'menacing' calls to partner
BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a St Boswells man who admitted making menacing calls to his partner.
Jordan Edmonds of Hamilton Place pleaded guilty to the offence which happened between January 31, 2018, and January 31 this year.
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court until July 15 for a Criminal Justice Social Work Report to be prepared.
The 29-year-old pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a man in Jenny Moores Road, St Boswells on February 19 by punching him in the face to his injury.
A trial date has been fixed for August 29 at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on August 12.
