A SELKIRK man has made a private court appearance facing two counts of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Twenty eight year old Dean McCallum of Buccleuch Road, is accused of committing the offences in Selkirk on May 18 and in Hawick's Liddesdale Road seven days later.
McCallum made no plea during a hearing at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and the case was continued for further examination.
He was granted bail by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
