A LAUDER man who was accused of an £11,000 benefits fraud has had the case against him deserted at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Gordon Gourdie, 65, of Calfward Park, had denied receiving housing benefit of £11,018 he was not entitled to between July 2013 and November 2017, by failing to declare he was in receipt of pension incomes from the Royal Mail and Armed Forces.
