GALASHIELS town centre is about to return to normal following the closure of Channel Street to traffic last week.
The partial collapse of a wall from a first-floor apartment led to the local authority closing Park Street and Channel Street to vehicles.
The town's main taxi rank was also moved to accommodate the closures.
Building work has been ongoing since the start of last week.
And early this afternoon the roads are expected to re-open.
A Scottish Borders Council spokesperson said: “We must thank the general public, local traders and taxi operators for their patience during the works to rebuild the collapsed wall which has required Park Street in Galashiels to be closed.
“The works are in the final stages, with Park Street expected to reopen to traffic imminently.”
