POLICE have recovered more than £1,000 of cocaine during a raid in a Borders village.
Officers made the discovery after finding a quantity of the class A drug on a 19-year-old man who they'd stopped-and-searched on Friday.
Officers from the Community Action Team joined in the search of a nearby property in Walkerburn's Tweedvale Place.
It is estimated that the amount of cocaine recovered in total is worth around £1200.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "The 19-year-old will appear in court at a later date.
"Support from members of the public is key to our work in tackling drug related crime across the Scottish Borders."
