Driver accused of causing cyclist crash near Carter Bar
A MOTORIST has been accused of causing severe injury to a cyclist by dangerous driving.
It follows an incident on the A6088 road at Southdean, near the Carter Bar on June 20.
Anthony Chester, 65, of North Shields, Newcastle, appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday afternoon.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination and he was released on bail.
