POLICE are still searching for the thug who desecrated a toddler's grave in the Borders.
Last week a grieving mum discovered her eight-month-old daughter's headstone had been toppled at Greenlaw Cemetery.
And a marble plinth had also been pulled up.
Emma Louise Baxter appealed to the community for help in catching the vandal. She said: "Never did I think anyone here was as low life as to do this.
"I am sickened beyond belief."
It is thought the vandalism took place at the start of last week.
Police were contacted on Wednesday and have been carrying out enquiries ever since.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of damage caused to a grave at the cemetery in Greenlaw.
"Inquiries into this incident are ongoing."
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.
