31-year-old remanded after allegedly attacking his ex
A JEDBURGH man accused of assaulting his former partner has been remanded in custody at the town's sheriff court pending his trial.
Dale Devlin denies behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and also assaulting the woman by repeatedly placing his hand over her mouth to prevent her calling for help and impeding her breathin.
The 31-year-old is also alleged to have thrown a phone at her which struck her to her injury at his home in Canongate on June 11.
