A CLYDEBANK man accused of causing a disturbance in the village of Gordon on New Year's Day and assaulting two men has walked free at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Marcus McGowan, 46, of Carleith Avenue, Duntocher, had denied shouting and swearing and demanding entry to the Gordon Arms public house, repeatedly striking the door and struggling with others.
He was alleged to have carried out the two assaults in Main Street, Gordon.
McGowan was found not guilty of the charges following a trial.
