A 26-year-old woman who sparked a police search lasting several hours has been remanded in custody until next week when she has other matters calling in court.
Sarah Scott of Woodstock Avenue, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to failing to reveal her location when requested to do so by police officers looking for her in Glenkinning Woods at Clovenfords on June 24.
Scott was already on bail with a special condition to co-operate with the police and emergency services.
The court was told that she had already spent three weeks in custody in connection with the matter but Sheriff David Clapham declined a request to release the hotel waitress on bail ahead of next Tuesday's sentencing diet at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
