BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Hawick man who failed to complete the terms of his Community Pay Back order.
Graeme Moffat, 37, of Lovel Court, Backdamgate, was ordered last year to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work after admitting stealing four butane canisters from a Hawick shop.
But he appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court and admitted breaching the order citing problems with drugs misuse.
Sheriff Peter Paterson deferred sentence until October 21 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report to see "what sentencing options are open to the court."
