THE managing director of a Hawick textiles mill is to receive an Honorary Fellowship from Borders College.

And next Friday he will awarded the special accolade at the college's graduation ceremony in Kelso.

A spokesperson for Borders College said: "Nick’s passion for all things Borders is clear, particularly in and around his hometown.

"It’s his endeavour to win the hearts and minds of the Borders community and show that the textiles industry is once again vibrant and has a bright future in terms of opportunities and careers.
