DOCUMENTARY film maker John Smail focussed his support on Scott's Selkirk at the weekend.
Copies of John's hugely successful film, A Souter's Year, were sold in the Scott's Selkirk Market Place shop this tear.
To thank the heritage festival for their support, the film-maker presented Viv Ross, Maistress of Scott’s Selkirk, with a cheque for £250.
Actor John Nichol, who played Sir Walter during Scott's Selkirk, was also on hand to give his thanks.
Mr Smail told us: "The donation was to thank the shop’s volunteers for their kind support."
