AN appeal has been launched after a Borders mill was targeted twice in the space of a week.
Thieves broke into Johnstons of Elgin at Mansfield Road in Hawick and stole items of clothing, including jackets and pullovers.
Police say they are "following positive lines of enquiry" – but are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson said: "This week, Johnstons of Elgin was broken into on two occasions.
"Police are following positive lines of enquiry but are also trying to locate a quantity of clothing that was stolen.

"Anyone with information relating to these crimes or the whereabouts of the property should call 101 quoting incident number 0152 of 14/10/19 or contact DC 11638 Sandy Blacklock at Galashiels CID."
