POLICE are appealing for help to catch a sneak thief whole stole a TV during a Langlee disturbance.
During the early hours of Sunday, October 13 a confrontation spilled out on the street from a property on Woodstock Avenue.
At around 4.15am, when the property owner returned they found their large, black television set had been stolen along with other household items.
Despite police enquiries, officers have been unable to catch the thief.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A disturbance had taken place within a property at Talisman Avenue, Galashiels, which has then spilled out on to Woodstock Avenue.
"When the occupier has returned a number of items were missing including the TV."
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting incident 933 of October 13.
