A GALASHIELS man has been accused of damaging a car windscreen with a pumpkin.
Twenty year old Louis Heatlie appeared from custody and denied behaving in a threatening or abusive manner near his Glendinning Terrace home on Saturday, adopting an aggressive attitude towards two named people and kicking a number of bins and a vehicle.
He also pleaded not guilty to two counts of spitting on police officers.
A trial date has been fixed for January 14 at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on December 16 and Heatlie was released on bail.
