A 45-year-old man has been accused of two domestic-related offences.
James Archibald denies shouting and swearing at his partner at a house in George Street, Peebles, on July 25, and uttering a threat of extreme violence.
He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting her to her injury.
Archibald of Myrtle Crescent, Bilston, will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court on February 13 with an intermediate hearing on January 27.
