A HAWICK man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of theft by housebreaking.
Christopher Rodgers, 23, is also charged with a vandalism offence.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Hawick on Tuesday.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Rodgers was released on bail.
