A FLOOD alert has been issued for the Borders.
Heavy rain is expected across the region overnight.
And the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Met Office have both put out alerts.
A spokesperson for SEPA said: "This alert is for river, surface water and coastal flooding.
"Heavy rainfall is forecast to affect the area from Wednesday evening though to Thursday morning.
"The east of the area is at greatest risk. Localised flooding of land and roads and isolated property flooding is possible from rivers and surface water.
"Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
"Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188."
